Specifies the DV video resolution options available for Digital Video playback and processing.

Fields

Full = 0

Full resolution - the native DV resolution. 720×480 pixels for NTSC, 720×576 pixels for PAL. Provides the highest quality but requires the most processing resources.

Half = 1

Half resolution - 50% of full resolution in each dimension. 360×240 pixels for NTSC, 360×288 pixels for PAL. Provides good quality with moderate processing requirements.

Quarter = 2

Quarter resolution - 25% of full resolution in each dimension. 180×120 pixels for NTSC, 180×144 pixels for PAL. Provides basic quality with lower processing requirements.

DC = 3

DC (Digital Camera) resolution - the lowest resolution option. 88×60 pixels for NTSC, 88×72 pixels for PAL. Provides thumbnail-quality preview with minimal processing requirements.

Remarks

DV resolution options provide different levels of quality and performance trade-offs. Higher resolutions provide better quality but require more processing power and memory.
